DOCTOR, SAVE US! WHERE ARE YOU?
Apparently some new fans of Doctor Who are calling themselves “Dweeks”, not “Whovians”. I think we need to remedy this. Reblog if you call yourself a WHOVIAN.

My dearest Mark,
Just in case you’d ever come across this I’m writing you a letter. I just want you to know that as corny andcliché as it may sound, you’ve changed my life so much. Even though I’ve never met you in person, I do believe that I know the type of person you are. You are so much more to me than just the lead singer of my favorite band. You’re such a genuinely sweet person who cares about people. It shows in everything that you do and the things you say. Ranging from giving homeless people food, and I’m not being funny when I say this but I’m talking about the whole mango chicken ordeal. You stated that you went up to so many homeless people with food. How many people would do that? You said that a lot of them said stuff like the one you specifically mentioned, and you still did it for others regardless of the fact that you knew they probably wouldn’t appreciate it. And not to mention the Do Good Bus. And a couple years ago with the La Garden thing. It amazes me the type of person you are and it sort of gives me just a little bit of hope that there are still good people in this world despite the way most people act because of society. Another thing is the way you write. That’s such an inspiration. Your songs are beautiful. They have meaning behind the lyrics unlike any most artists today. It honestly surprised me that PUK was on the radio at all because all they play is crap with meaningless lyrics about money they waste and drugs and sex and living some great life getting away with all of it when in the real world people are losing their homes and starving and facing depression and suicide is a big issue for the youth. You recognize that in all of your songs including PUK. There’s so much meaning in all of them. Here’s a list of basically what I pull from just a few of them…
PUK: A mentally unstable, depressed teenage boy who’s bullied and just can’t take anymore. His home life is bad and so is his social life because of the bullying.
Ruby: A middle-aged mother who’s just trying her best to take care of her children but her depression is really taking a toll on her and it’s making it really hard.
Waste: I’m not sure if this is what you were trying to say but what I pull from this is a girl with schizophrenia. She’s doing her best to fight off the monsters which are the voices in her head and a boy is in love with her. It’s hard for him too but he’s in love with her and he’s going to try his best to make sure she’s okay. He wants her to take her time but he’s going to try to fix her as best he can and make her happy again.
Houdini: Being a musician isn’t what people think it is. It’s a lot harder with the way people act and treat you. Even though making music may be your passion, it can easily get to be too much and make you want to just disappear from it all.
Your music inspires me just as much as you do. I have a giant mosaic FTP poster in my room. I put it directly above my piano. I try to write my own songs sometime, no lyrics…just music. I put the poster there because sometimes I get really mad and want to just give up, but then I look up at your face and think about everything that you’ve went through to get where you were. You never gave up. You pursued your dream all the way. And then I think about how I’m not just going to give up because I get angry. Getting angry is such a small obstacle compared to the ones you overcame. Thank you so much Mark Foster. I can never repay you for the things you’ve done for me. You don’t even have a clue but one day I wish you would. I don’t know if you ever underestimate yourself, but I want you to know that you never ever should. You’re so perfect in every single way and I love you. Of course that statement would make anyone blow me off as just a simple fangirl lusting over you and calling it love, but that’s not the deal with me. It might be hard to believe but I have really grown to actually love you. Your looks are just icing on the cake. They’re perfect of course and I do like the way you look a lot but that’s not even close to the reason. I’d still love if you didn’t have them. The type of person you are is amazing. We’ve all heard stories about the drinking and being sort of rude with fans, but who wouldn’t? I could definitely see how overwhelmed and annoyed you must feel to have fans gushing over you at concerts outside and how it might be hard to hide those emotions sometimes. But most of the time you do. And for the other times, you’re only human. People can’t expect you to act so nice and sweet in certain situations where most people would start screaming. You still hold yourself in a good way. That’s why I love you Mark Foster. To end this letter, I want you to know that I want you to be happy. So happy. I just want you to be the happiest man in the world because you deserve happiness more than anybody I know or know of.
Thanks for being you.
